[Sports Chosun Reporter Ahn So-yoon] Actor Eom Ki-joon directly conveyed the news of his marriage to fans through a handwritten letter.

Eom Ki-joon stated on his personal account on the 13th, “I thought meeting a lifelong partner was something that would never happen to me,” and expressed, “I have met a warm-hearted and caring partner and plan to start a new life through marriage with that person.”

He further mentioned, “Thinking of my fans who will be surprised by this sudden news, I feel anxious,” and added, “I will always remember the support and love you have given me and will do my best to repay your love.”.

Prior to this, Eom Ki-joon’s agency, YOUR Entertainment, stated to Sports Chosun on this day, “Eom Ki-joon will marry a non-celebrity bride in December this year. There is no premarital pregnancy, and they will hold a small private wedding ceremony with close friends and family.”

Eom Ki-joon made his debut in 1995 with the play ‘Richard III’, and the following year, he began his career as a musical actor in the ensemble of ‘Oliver’. He has since proven his solid acting skills through musicals such as ‘The Sadness of Young Werther’, ‘Hedwig’, ‘Jack the Ripper’, ‘Those Days’, ‘Monte Cristo’, ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’, ‘Rebecca’, and dramas like ‘The World They Live In’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Defendant’, ‘Cardiothoracic Surgery – Doctors Who Stole Hearts’, the ‘Penthouse’ series, and ‘Little Women’.

Hello, this is Eom Ki-joon. It feels like it hasn’t been long since 2024 started, but we are already welcoming the beginning of summer as spring comes to an end. I hope everyone is staying healthy and well.

Being able to hold my place as an actor for a long time is all thanks to all of you – my fans. I always have a grateful heart for the consistent love you have shown me. I feel sorry that I have only been receiving the love you give me without much in return. Meeting you all recently and seeing you happy and joyful was a source of strength and a grateful time for me.

The reason I am writing this letter is to share the news I want to tell our fans first. I thought meeting a lifelong partner was something that would never happen to me. But I have met a warm-hearted and caring partner, and we are planning to start a new life together through marriage. I feel anxious thinking about our fans who will be surprised by this sudden news.

To all our fans! I will always remember the love and support you give me and will do my best to repay your love. Thank you.
