Meanwhile, Im Young-woong debuted in the music industry in August 2016 with the digital single ‘I Hate You’. During his rookie years, he was so unknown that he attended the ‘Mother’s Classroom’ for free to promote his song ‘Elevator, Not Stairs’. However, a year later in 2020, he won the final of TV Chosun’s ‘Mr. Trot’, leading to a life-turning event.

Since then, Im Young-woong has established himself as a national singer by giving back to the love he received, donating 200 million won on his birthday each year, and practicing good influence.
