Former After School member and actress Raina has shared a New Year greeting. On the 3rd, Raina posted “Happy new year” on her personal account along with photos updating her current status. The pictures show Raina adorned with luxurious headbands and clothes, exuding an elegant presence.
Previously, Raina faced plastic surgery rumors due to her changed appearance. However, she addressed these during a live broadcast last year, stating, “It’s an app. I didn’t shave my jaw. People say I’ve done something to my face, but it’s not true. You don’t need to worry.”
Raina debuted with After School in 2010 and gained significant popularity as a member of the unit group Orange Caramel. However, she was involved in a DUI incident in May 2021. The accident occurred when Raina crashed into a taxi ahead of her near Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. At that time, Raina’s blood alcohol level was above the license revocation limit of 0.08%. As a result, she was fined 15 million won during the first trial sentencing in October of that year.
Before the first trial, Raina tearfully stated, “My life is over.” After the sentencing, she paused her activities to take time for reflection.
