[Sports Chosun Reporter Yu-na Lee] ‘Pyeonstorang’ Lee Sang-woo will reveal the love house he acquired after 7 years of marriage for the first time.
On the August 23 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ‘Newlyweds’ Restaurant’ (‘Pyeonstorang’), actor Lee Sang-woo, who threw an ambitious statement as a rookie chef, makes his first appearance. In the show, the 20-year veteran actor known for portraying handsome male leads in numerous dramas will showcase his quirky and charming daily life, as well as his lovely everyday life with his wife, actress Kim So-yeon, garnering much attention.
During a recent recording of ‘Pyeonstorang’ studio, Lee Sang-woo’s first appearance was met with enthusiastic applause from the cast. Lee greeted everyone with a harmless gaze and smile, warming up the atmosphere. Prior to entering the studio for recording, he shared a word of encouragement from his wife Kim So-yeon, bringing laughter to the set.
At that moment, MC Boom asked Lee Sang-woo, “It took quite a long time to appear on the show after discussing with the production team and cast, right?” Lee replied, “I received the first contact 5 years ago,” and added, “I was mentally preparing for 3 years and seriously contemplating for 2 years,” surprising everyone with a laugh. He further mentioned, “And an additional 120 days because of the house…” causing confusion.
Amidst everyone’s curiosity, a VCR revealed the newly acquired love house of Lee Sang-woo and Kim So-yeon after 7 years of marriage for the first time. Lee remarked, “After getting married, So-yeon stayed in the house I was living in. So, in a way, this house is the first newlywed home after 7 years of marriage,” kicking off the house tour.

Kim So-yeon made a surprise appearance at this point, surprising everyone. The couple introduced their home together and engaged in affectionate conversation. Especially, Lee Sang-woo, who constantly smiled warmly at his wife’s lovable words, earned compliments from the ‘Pyeonstorang’ cast members for their lovely relationship.
Lee continued, “Many things happened since coming to this house. To the point where silly things were visible…” arousing curiosity. The preparation period for the completion of this house took 1 year, the construction period was 6 months, and the interior design alone took 100 days. The secret of this newlywed home, which even had Kim So-yeon sticking out her tongue, is awaited in anticipation.
Additionally, anticipation is high for the culinary skills Lee Sang-woo will showcase as he takes on the challenge as a rookie chef, and what unexpected charm the quirky and charming Lee Sang-woo will bring.
