Actor Lee Jun-hyuk has become the cover star for the fashion magazine ‘ELLE MAN.’
Demonstrating his fashionable ability to pull off outfits, Lee Jun-hyuk showed off a variety of appearances, from his uniquely intense gaze to witty poses, exhibiting his presence.
When asked about feeling the intense love as a trending actor these days, he humbly responded, “I’m in a busy state as the next filming has started. But I do feel like there’s more work coming in. The staff and people around me seem happier, but I always tell myself not to get too ahead of things. I guess it means the production went well.”
Having recently shown a wide range of faces across various genres, he spoke about playing a father in ‘My Perfect Secretary’: “I don’t think this project was a drama that showcases the reality of parenting. While there are works that point out aspects of reality that need to change, there are also those that present a blueprint. Even if it feels like a fantasy, it’s necessary to show a ‘figure’ to aspire to and move towards, and this time I intended to head in the latter direction.”
When asked about the drive that has led him throughout nearly 20 years of acting, particularly with his warm yet composed demeanor, adept at ‘charging’ and ‘breaking through,’ he said, “I seem to have thoroughly separated my characters from myself. Honestly, I tend to fear being in the spotlight, but I believe that the existence of Lee Jun-hyuk can be rediscovered or redefined in works or, like today, in a photo shoot holding a flower. As a film enthusiast, I enjoy the process of interpreting the meanings inherent within frames, and interpreting Lee Jun-hyuk within any given frame objectively adds an element of fun. The process of co-creating and conveying something abstract that hasn’t existed before as a shared goal is intriguing. Perhaps that was my pure driving force.”
