This time, he specifically expressed his intention to donate to the ‘Sunshine Tree’ program, which offers palliative care services for children and adolescents. This program provides integrated medical services aimed at comforting and improving the quality of life for young patients with severe illnesses and their families.

Through his agency, Lee Je-hoon shared, “Upon learning about the purpose of the ‘Sunshine Tree’ program, which provides art, music, and sports therapy—uncommon in hospital settings—to ease the burden on patients and families dealing with severe illnesses, I found it to be meaningful and beneficial. I wanted to support it so many could overcome the psychological challenges of treatment and experience positive outcomes.”

Including this recent donation, Lee Je-hoon has contributed a total of 300 million won to Seoul Asan Hospital. Moreover, he has been a longtime ambassador for the international relief and development organization Oxfam and is recorded as the first supporter in a high-donor group. Aside from this, he has reached a cumulative donation of 100 million won to Beautiful Foundation and Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea, spreading his positive influence. Based on these public service activities, he received a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety at the ‘3rd Good Donor Awards Ceremony’ in 2023.

Meanwhile, Lee Je-hoon is set to appear in the JTBC weekend drama ‘The Art of Negotiation’ in March and is also preparing for the release of the film ‘Moral Hazard’.
