‘Late Kim Sae-ron’s Private Life Report Controversy’ YouTuber: “I Only Wanted to Apologize to the Bereaved Family” Explanation

[OSEN=By Yoo Soo-yeon] YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, who reported on the late Kim Sae-ron’s recent private life, has expressed his position on the matter.

On the 13th, Lee Jin-ho published a video titled “Received orders from Kim Soo-hyun? Going all the way with Kim Se-eui” on his YouTube channel ‘Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho’.

Lee Jin-ho stated, “Recently, incorrect news about me has been spreading continuously, so I am standing in front of the camera with a heavy heart to correct the facts.”

Firstly, he explained, “The claims that I covered videos related to Kim Sae-ron under orders from Kim Soo-hyun are extremely malicious and unilateral. Furthermore, they are unfounded. I have never communicated with Kim Soo-hyun or any of his representatives. The manager I contacted while covering videos on Kim Sae-ron was not from Gold Medalist.”

He continued, “I never once mentioned that the photo of Kim Soo-hyun posted by Kim Sae-ron on SNS was ‘manipulated.’ It was impossible for me to know about their past relationship unless informed by the parties involved. I learned about the fact from Kim Sae-ron’s manager.”

He added, “From the perspective of Kim Sae-ron’s manager, who was helping her return to the entertainment industry, such noise was not beneficial. The manager made significant efforts to let the situation pass. The best thing the manager could do in a situation where over a hundred articles were already published due to the photo Kim Sae-ron posted. I have evidence for all these claims.”

Furthermore, he stated, “The only time I called Kim Sae-ron was on January 8th, and the call wasn’t connected because I deleted the number. I contacted the bereaved family the day after Kim Sae-ron’s funeral, on the 20th. It was to convey that I wanted to apologize, at least morally.”

He emphasized, “Once again, I just wanted to bow my head to the grieving family. If they were angry at me, I wanted to listen. I couldn’t attend the funeral, so I wanted to express my condolences.”

Additionally, Lee Jin-ho mentioned, “In the past three years, I covered four videos related to Kim Sae-ron. After hearing the news of her death, I set those videos to private. Despite this, comments like ‘If you have nothing to hide, make the videos public’ have been posted. I’m torn between whether to make the videos public again for the public’s judgment or if doing so will trouble the family again. I’m genuinely struggling with this decision.”

He also hinted at legal action against ‘Gaseyeon’ Kim Se-eui, saying, “It will take some time for the results, but I will clearly reveal the truth through the investigation agency. I will faithfully undergo all inspections and share the results with the public. If there’s anything incorrect in the content I covered, I will take full responsibility. I will not avoid any responsibility.”

Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home on the 16th of last month. The bereaved family indicated they were considering legal action against Lee Jin-ho, claiming the YouTube video reports about Kim Sae-ron’s private life caused them distress.
