“Koyote Donates 30 Million Won to Wildfire-Affected Areas After Attending Event in Gyeongnam”

The mixed group Koyote (Kim Jong-min, Shinji, Bbaek Ga) has joined the donation efforts for the Yeongnam region affected by wildfires.

On the 27th, according to Star News, Koyote’s agency, KYT Entertainment, donated 30 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) on the 26th for wildfire recovery efforts in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

Koyote, who travels all over the country for various events and festivals, reportedly witnessed the wildfire suppression efforts during their schedule in the Gyeongnam region on the 25th and decided to contribute to help those struggling due to the wildfires.

Koyote also donated 30 million won in 2019 to help victims of the Gangwon wildfires. In 2020, they demonstrated positive influence by donating 50 million won to medical staff in Daegu and Gyeongbuk to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, as large wildfires continue to spread in the Yeongnam region, stars like Yoo Jae-suk, IU, Suzy, Lee Chan-won, Jang Min-ho, Han Ji-min, Go Min-si, and Lee Hye-young have participated in the donation efforts. Koyote’s contribution adds to the warmth of their good deeds.

Meanwhile, the large wildfires that simultaneously broke out in areas such as Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, Sancheong in Gyeongnam, and Ulju in Ulsan on the 21st have spread to places like Andong, Cheongsong, and Yeongdeok in Gyeongbuk, expanding the damage. The disaster, being labeled as the ‘worst wildfire in history,’ has resulted in 18 deaths and displaced about 27,000 people so far.
