[Joy News 24 Reporter Jeong Ji-won] Actor Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has filed a complaint against Kim Se-eui, the operator of the YouTube channel “Garo Sero Institute.”
On the 24th, Kim Soo-hyun’s side stated, “Gold Medalist, as the agency managing actor Kim Soo-hyun, has additionally filed a complaint against Kim Se-eui, the operator of the YouTube channel ‘Garo Sero Institute,’ for charges of criminal intimidation.”
Kim Soo-hyun’s side claims that ‘Garo Sero Institute’ repeatedly posted photos capturing Kim Soo-hyun’s private life on live broadcasts, asserting that this is another criminal act. They also claimed that ‘Garo Sero Institute’ threatened to release a certain video if the release of ‘Knock Off,’ in which Kim Soo-hyun appears, was not canceled.
Kim Soo-hyun’s side stated, “The claims by ‘Garo Sero Institute’ are not true, just like their previous claims, and the video they allege does not exist.”
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun is under suspicion of having been in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron since her minor years. The YouTube channel “Garo Sero Institute” released an interview with Kim Sae-ron’s bereaved family, reporting that Kim Soo-hyun had dated Kim Sae-ron for six years starting in 2016.
Subsequently, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, refuted, stating that “Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron dated from the summer of 2019, after Kim Sae-ron became an adult, until the fall of 2020. It is not true that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron while she was a minor.” They also denied claims of 700 million KRW debt repayment pressure.
Kim Soo-hyun’s side is also pursuing legal action. Gold Medalist has filed complaints against “Garo Sero Institute,” which released a picture of Kim Soo-hyun doing dishes at Kim Sae-ron’s home, and the late Kim Sae-ron’s bereaved family for charges including sexual violence crimes.

1. As the agency responsible for managing actor Kim Soo-hyun, Gold Medalist has today filed an additional complaint against Kim Se-eui, the operator of the YouTube channel “Garo Sero Institute” (hereinafter “Garo Sero”), for criminal intimidation under the Penal Code.
2. As is widely known, Gold Medalist filed a complaint on March 20, 2025, against “Garo Sero” for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of footage captured via camera, etc.) by posting photos taken of actor Kim Soo-hyun’s private life on his YouTube channel live broadcast. However, “Garo Sero” reposted the photos on a live broadcast on March 21, 2025, the day after Gold Medalist filed the complaint. Such behavior by “Garo Sero” is another criminal act and shows contempt for law enforcement, which is unimaginable.
3. Furthermore, during live broadcasts on March 21 and 22, 2025, “Garo Sero” mentioned the Disney+ original drama “Knock Off” featuring Kim Soo-hyun, threatening to reveal footage of Kim Soo-hyun if Disney+ did not cancel the release. “Garo Sero” also repeatedly mentioned “Nth Room” during the broadcast, falsely suggesting that Kim Soo-hyun committed crimes similar to those in the “Nth Room” and that there are recordings of it. These claims by “Garo Sero” are completely false, just like their previous claims, and the video they allege does not exist. The actions of “Garo Sero” constitute grave crimes that cannot be overlooked, and as such, Gold Medalist has promptly taken additional legal action.
