Actor Jung Tae-woo reminisced about his first meeting with his wife, Jang In-hee, a former flight attendant.
In a recent video titled “Would You Marry Me Again If You Were Reborn?” on Jang In-hee’s YouTube channel, the couple reflected on their meeting, which dates back to 2005, nearly 20 years ago.
Jung Tae-woo shared, “At that time, I had a girlfriend, but people around me kept trying to set me up. I was in constant relationships, but working in the entertainment industry made it difficult to publicly date non-celebrity girlfriends. So, people thought I was single and a close sister-like figure introduced me to others a few times. Her workplace was Korean Air, and she was In-hee’s senior.”
He added, “I ended up going to two or three group meetings reluctantly. Regarding my first impression of Jang In-hee, I neither liked nor disliked her. She was very bright. She wasn’t the type of woman I pursued or had dated before. She was very lively, bubbly, and cute.”
Jang In-hee also mentioned, “I attended without any big expectations. I was curious when my sister said he was a celebrity, so I went just for fun. My first impression of Jung Tae-woo was also just so-so.”
When the production crew asked the couple if they would marry each other again, Jang In-hee responded coolly, “Of course.” However, Jung Tae-woo said, “I’m not sure,” which prompted a playful protest from his wife.
Jung Tae-woo teased, “No one but me would accept you,” to which Jang In-hee responded, “There’s no one who’d put up with how frequently you go overseas,” showcasing their playful banter.
