[MyDaily = Reporter Kwak Myeong-dong] Actor Jung Kyung-ho expressed his gratitude to Girls’ Generation’s Choi Soo-young, whom he has been publicly dating for 12 years.
In a recent interview with a media outlet, Jung was asked, “What can you say is another pillar of your life outside of acting?”
Jung replied, “It sounds too obvious, but the center of my life outside of acting is Choi Soo-young.”
He continued, “I actually sometimes think I’m acting because of her (laughs). I want to look good to her, to let her know I’m a good person, a good actor. The thing that makes me happiest outside of acting is Soo-young’s happiness. We’ve been together a long time and see each other often. It’s thanks to her patience that we’ve been together this long. I always make mistakes, you know. Though not anymore, there was a time I used to drink a lot and get drunk (laughs),” expressing his gratitude.
He also responded to the remark that “a life partner you’ve been with for a long time is important” by saying, “It’s possible because we’ve been dreaming of being good actors together since the beginning.”
Meanwhile, Jung Kyung-ho is set to appear in the MBC drama ‘Labor Attorney No Moo-jin,’ which premieres on May 30th. ‘Labor Attorney No Moo-jin’ is a comedy fantasy action drama depicting the tumultuous labor issue resolutions by a labor attorney who sees ghosts. The series is directed by Im Soon-rye, who has directed films like ‘Forever the Moment,’ ‘Little Forest,’ and ‘Negotiation.’ It is also written by Kim Bo-tong, known for the OTT drama ‘D.P.’ series and ‘Wilderness,’ and Yoo Seung-hee, who wrote films like ‘My Love, My Bride’ and ‘I Can Speak,’ raising expectations for its release.
There is growing anticipation for Jung Kyung-ho’s performance as he takes on the role of a labor attorney after previously transforming into a doctor and a top instructor.
Choi Soo-young is also appearing in the tvN drama ‘Please Decrease My Alcohol Consumption,’ which premieres on May 12th.
