[Sports Chosun Reporter Lee Yuna] Actress Jeon Jong-seo revisited her fashion timeline and was shocked by her bold past fashion choices.
On the 24th, Bazaar Korea released a fashion timeline interview with Jeon Jong-seo.
Jeon Jong-seo, who made a dazzling debut with the movie “Burning” in June 2022, commented on the vintage fashion captured in the still cut at the time: “It’s a location still cut taken without my knowledge. I think it’s a fashion that fits the age I was then.”
Reflecting on the Cannes photocall fashion, Jeon said, “I’ve realized now that yellow doesn’t suit me very well,” adding, “Back then, I wore whatever the stylist gave me. If it were now, I would have asked if there were any other clothes. But I can feel the freshness unique to that time.”
Regarding the first shoot with Bazaar Korea where she wore a bold pants-less look, Jeon expressed her surprise: “Why didn’t I wear pants then?” She added, “It’s a fashion with many regrets from my current self. It seems like I hardly did anything with my hair or makeup. As I work in this field, my style has become more defined over time.”
Yet, she also remarked, “I still like natural things. The naturalness that comes through from back then is something I still appreciate.”
Regarding her usual fashion, she said, “I like a natural style, and I tend to stay at home rather than go out.” Reflecting on her once-frequent bang hairstyle, she noted: “I liked cutting my bangs like that and had bangs for a long time. I want to grow my hair out calmly, but I can’t because of the work. I might have to cut it again,” hinting at a future project.
Jeon, who is not confident in taking selfies, mentioned, “People around me tell me not to take selfies. They tell me to take mirror selfies instead. If I take a selfie, I usually ask someone for their opinion before posting it.”
On her striking leggings fashion that garnered attention, she commented, “I personally wanted to try throwing the first pitch, so I challenged myself. I didn’t expect that fashion to get so much attention. I practiced a lot for the throw and went up to the mound in a learned state.”
Talking about her regular exercise routine, she said, “I exercise every day, but I can’t right now due to the physically demanding project I’m working on,” mentioning her current filming with Han So-hee for the movie ‘Project Y.’
Jeon described the project saying, “The film I’m shooting with actor Han So-hee is a rare female duo crime movie. I don’t know how much I can reveal. I think you can look forward to it. It will be completely different from the past black-and-white shoot image,” asking for anticipation.
