Jang Young-ran’s Husband Closes 400-Pyeong Clinic and Opens in Apgujeong, “Introduced by Hong Hyun-hee”

Broadcaster Jang Young-ran shared insights into her husband, Han Chang’s, preparation for opening a new clinic.
In the YouTube channel ‘A급 장영란’ video released on the 5th, titled ‘Jang Young-ran’s Husband Opens a Clinic After 6 Months of Unemployment,’ Jang Young-ran was seen scouting new locations for the clinic with her husband. She expressed, “My husband is finally getting employed again,” and mentioned they were out to find a spot for the clinic.
She revealed they were considering Apgujeong due to a connection with comedian Hong Hyun-hee. She explained, “When Hyun-hee’s husband visited, he had back issues, and my husband treated him. Hyun-hee jokingly pleaded with us to start the clinic here and even connected us to a real estate agent.”
Jang Young-ran’s husband, Han Chang, decided to downsize from a 400-pyeong clinic to a smaller one because he wanted to rest more but still help many patients. They toured several properties around Seoul’s Apgujeong area, and Han Chang expressed his desire to start small in a location accessible to the elderly. A real estate agent mentioned, “This area has about 3,800 households, but only one existing clinic, indicating low competition.”
Later, the couple moved to Gocheok-dong to check another property. Jang Young-ran shared memories from her childhood in the area, recalling that her father built a brick house there and reminiscing about her first date with her husband at that spot.
Han Chang shared, “Though I’m currently unemployed, I spent the day thinking like a prospective entrepreneur, and I’m excited to begin working again.” Jang Young-ran noted, “He was unemployed but never seemed like it, and now that he’s reopening the clinic, I feel assured.”
Towards the end of the video, the couple remarked on returning to their professional roots and committed to their new beginning. Jang Young-ran concluded by stating, “After six months of rest, my husband is reopening his clinic. We will continue to show our hardworking selves.”
