Comedian couple Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung have addressed the criticism they faced for filming a YouTube video during an emergency situation when their son was sick.
On the 26th, a video titled “I have something to say…” was uploaded to their YouTube channel ‘GiYuTV’.
Lee Eun-hyung mentioned the physical changes she’s experienced since her pregnancy and childbirth, noting how looking down while breastfeeding and caring for her baby has caused her chin to sag, and expressed her desire for a facelift.
The conversation naturally shifted to their son Hyun-jo. Lee Eun-hyung reflected on whether traveling frequently with Hyun-jo at such a young age was too much, recalling the emotional distress when he had to visit the emergency room due to gastroenteritis.
The couple kept a record of the tense moments through their YouTube video. This action drew some criticism. Kang Jae-jun explained that despite the stressful situation, they chose to record it as they wanted to create a meaningful record for Hyun-jo to look back on when he grows up.
Lee Eun-hyung added that they didn’t film during the critical moments, only doing so when their baby was asleep, acknowledging that some might find it uncomfortable but emphasizing the value of their records. Kang Jae-jun elaborated further, reflecting on how they were very focused on Hyun-jo during that time.
