“Rosé shared her thoughts on releasing her first solo full-length album during a New York Times interview published on the 23rd (local time), saying, ‘It feels like I’ve been waiting my whole life to release this album.’
Rosé expressed, ‘I grew up listening to the music of many female artists. I could relate to their music, and they helped me get through tough times.’ She further shared, ‘I always dreamed of releasing an album someday, but I never thought it would be possible.’ She also candidly admitted, ‘When I first started this whole process last year, I questioned myself a lot.’
In protecting herself from hardships, Rosé cited songwriting as her method. She was quoted by the NYT as saying, ‘Songwriting came to me like a blessing when I really needed it, and when I pour a big problem into a song, it often leaves my mind,’ she said with a smile.
Rosé will release her first solo full-length album ‘rosie’ on December 6th. Prior to the album release, on the 18th of last month, she released a pre-release track ‘Apartment,’ which swept various music charts and received much love.”
