Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has confessed to drinking alcohol daily during the Los Angeles (LA) wildfires. On the 4th (local time), Paltrow appeared as a guest on a podcast and revealed, “I am currently in distress. Since the fire broke out in LA in January, I have been in deep sadness. I drank every night.”
In January, a massive wildfire occurred in Los Angeles, California, which damaged an area equivalent to a quarter of Seoul and caused numerous casualties. Living in LA, Paltrow stated, “Fortunately, I was okay, but many of our close friends were affected. During that time, I drank alcohol every night. I used it as medicine.”
She continued, “I usually have about one drink a week. At that time, drinking every night affected the worsening of my menopause symptoms. I was completely out of control. Especially after menopause, I was overwhelmed at night by anxiety I had never experienced before in my life. I have lain in bed thinking about every mistake I’ve made and the emotions of every person I’ve hurt.”
Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow developed a romantic relationship with TV producer Brad Falchuk following her divorce from singer Chris Martin in 2014 and married him in 2018 after more than four years of dating.
