[Joy News24 Kim Yang-soo Reporter] It has been revealed that actor Ju Jong-hyuk played the role of Oh Jak-gyo in the drama in which Gong Min-jung and Jang Jae-ho announced that they will become a real-life couple instead of just acting as one.
Gong Min-jung and Jang Jae-ho are set to hold their wedding ceremony at a private venue in Seoul in early September. They plan to quietly celebrate with only family members and close friends in attendance.

The two starred as a married couple in the tvN drama ‘Marry Me Now’ that ended in February. Gong Min-jung portrayed the struggles of a working mom as Kang Ji-won, a deputy in the U&K Food marketing team, while Jang Jae-ho played the role of Lee Jae-won, a clueless younger husband who cheats on his wife.
In an interview conducted after the drama ended, Gong Min-jung told Joy News24, “Jaeho and I were friends even before the show aired. He was part of a group of friends that included Ju Jong-hyuk. Jaeho and I became friends by chance because Jaehyuk was roommates with Jong-hyuk for 8 years.” She added, “Meeting by chance in this project made it more enjoyable to act together. But it was actually difficult at first to act as an unhappy couple because we were so close. I had trouble focusing because I would laugh when I saw his face, even though I was supposed to show hatred and disgust.”
Gong Min-jung debuted in 2013 with the drama ‘Everyone Wants to Die in My Name’ and has appeared in ‘Jang Bo-ri is Here!’ ‘Little Women’ ‘The 25th Hour in Health Counseling’ and more.
Jang Jae-ho debuted in 2008 with the play ‘Regret in the Blanket’ and has appeared in movies such as ‘Wolf’s Night Hunt’ and ‘The Devil’.
