G-Dragon Reports Progress on Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters for Defamation

On the 17th, Galaxy Corporation announced on social media, “We are actively pursuing legal action against malicious posts targeting G-Dragon.”
The company explained that they investigated tips and collected materials until the end of the previous month. They filed a complaint against the authors of malicious posts for “violation of the Information and Communications Network Act” (defamation) on the 15th.
They are currently responding strongly, focusing on severe criminal activities such as “defamation by false facts.” Procedures are in place to ensure actual punishment.
They also plan to continue additional lawsuits. “We will cooperate with investigative agencies and proceed sequentially, focusing on major domestic platforms and online communities,” they emphasized.
Finally, they added, “We will do our best to ensure that our artists can focus on their creative activities in a healthy environment. We thank the fans for their support and tips.”
