On the 13th, Yonhap News TV released CCTV footage of SUGA’s drunk driving accident. In the CCTV footage, SUGA was riding an electric scooter on a sidewalk in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. He crashed into a curb at high speed and fell on the road.

However, it was revealed that SUGA was riding an electric scooter, not an electric kickboard, he didn’t travel a short distance, there was damaged property, and he was riding the scooter on the sidewalk, not in front of his house. Also, although he claimed to only have had a beer, his actual blood alcohol concentration was 0.227%, significantly exceeding the license cancellation criterion of 0.08%.

Continued exposure of SUGA’s lies is causing division among fans. Some fans are attacking other K-pop artists while supporting SUGA, and some are holding protests demanding SUGA’s withdrawal.
