Even a convicted criminal… Controversy over ‘I’m Solo’ Season 23’s Jung-sook raises concerns about ‘participant screening’.

(ExSports News Reporter Myung Hee-sook) ‘I Am SOLO’ has once again been unable to avoid the risks of featuring ordinary people. While several controversial individuals have appeared on the show previously, the revelation of a criminal record has resulted in an unusual apology.

On the 31st, the production company of the SBS Plus and ENA entertainment program ‘I Am SOLO,’ Chondang Entertainment, issued a statement through their official channel regarding the controversy. They stated, “During the first broadcast of the 23rd season of ‘I Am SOLO,’ there was an uproar in online communities concerning suspicions about a cast member’s criminal record from 13 years ago. Recognizing the seriousness of the issue, the production team intends to take measures to ensure viewers do not experience discomfort during the broadcast.”
