On this day, Davichi headed to Cheongju for a wedding performance. Kang Min-kyung shared, “Today is a wedding that can’t be watched without tears. There’s a team member who feels like a child to me. As soon as that friend came to Seoul, they started working with me. They have this youthful vibe that makes them seem frozen in time at that age. (Of course) now, they are a respected MD in the company. Finally, today, they are getting married,” she expressed her emotional thoughts.
Having visited the salon early in the morning, Kang Min-kyung added, “(Lee Hae-ri) unnie knows this friend well too,” and explained, “It seems they’ve chosen to have the wedding in Cheongju to accommodate their hometown friends. We will play the fanfare today. I’m endlessly thankful to Lee Hae-ri beside me. With this friend getting married, all the early members have been wed,” she expressed her gratitude.
In response, Lee Hae-ri humorously retorted, “Since we’ve promised today is the last time, no matter who gets married next, I won’t be there,” making Kang Min-kyung laugh. Kang Min-kyung replied, “I relied quite a bit on Lee Hae-ri’s help. This will truly be the last time. I’m retiring after this.” Lee Hae-ri added, “Please retire (from singing at weddings). Now it’s time for you to have your wedding songs sung,” she teased.
Standing on the wedding stage, Lee Hae-ri said, “It feels like sending off a younger sibling to marriage. Anyway, I’m glad they are marrying such a wonderful groom. I hope they’ll have a happy married life, as they have dated for a long time,” smiling warmly. Currently, Davichi is preparing for the release of new music.
