Actor Byun Woo-seok’s agency has filed a lawsuit against malicious commenters.
On the 15th, Baro Entertainment, his agency, announced, “We have decided that we can no longer overlook the malicious slander and insults directed at our actor Byun Woo-seok, and have proceeded with legal action to protect his rights.”
The agency stated, “Through our own monitoring and reports from fans, we have confirmed malicious criminal activities relating to our actor. We have collected sufficient evidence of crimes such as slander, defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information through malevolent posts and comments. We have filed a complaint after a legal review by a law firm.”
The agency emphasized, “Posting malicious slander, insults, and groundless falsehoods is a clear criminal act and is subject to legal action. We will not stand by these criminal actions and will take strong measures to ensure appropriate punishment without any settlement or leniency.”
