BTS Jungkook’s “Seven” Tops Billboard’s ‘Top TV Songs’ Chart: First and Only Asian Artist’s Song

Jungkook of BTS has achieved a significant milestone as his song “Seven” reached the number one spot on Billboard’s “Top TV Songs” chart, highlighting his global popularity. According to an article reported by Billboard on the 25th (local time), Jungkook’s first solo debut song “Seven” topped the Billboard “Top TV Songs” chart in January 2025.

Initially released in 2023, “Seven” gained prominence on the Billboard chart following its feature in the Netflix series “XO, Kitty” Season 2 in January, showcasing its strong musical impact by rising to the top position.

Jungkook stands out as the first and only Asian artist to achieve the number one spot on the Billboard “Top TV Songs” chart. This chart ranks songs based on data provided by the music search website “Tunefind”, which identifies songs featured in TV series and movies, combined with sales and streaming information tracked by “Luminate” over a specific period.

Previously, in 2019, Jungkook made a breakthrough by ranking 7th on the “US Top TV Songs Chart”, the OST ranking for American dramas, with his solo song “Euphoria”, marking the first time a Korean song had ever appeared on that chart.
