BTS Jimin’s ‘Who’ ranks 24th on the US Billboard ‘Hot 100’… Strong longevity with a 23-week run

BTS’s Jimin has re-entered the US Billboard’s main singles chart, the ‘Hot 100,’ at 24th place, maintaining his popularity for 23 weeks. According to the latest chart released by the US music industry magazine Billboard (dated January 11), Jimin’s ‘Who’ has re-entered the ‘Hot 100’ at 24th place, spending 23 weeks on the chart. This marks ‘Who’ as achieving the highest ranking for a K-pop song on its 23rd week on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart.

Furthermore, ‘Who’ has set a new record for the longest-charting song by a Korean solo artist since Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style,’ staying on the chart for 23 weeks. Overall in K-pop, it ranks as the fourth longest-charting song following BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ (32 weeks), Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ (31 weeks), and FIFTY FIFTY’s ‘Cupid’ (25 weeks).

Jimin has also made his mark on other Billboard sub-charts. ‘Who,’ which demonstrated its impact by ranking first on ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global (Excl. US)’ for two consecutive weeks upon release, re-entered the top 10 this week at 10th and 9th positions, respectively, showcasing his potential as a solo artist without collaborations with other international artists.

On the Billboard ‘Streaming Songs’ chart, ‘Who’ rose 36 places from the previous week to 13th, achieving a new peak on that chart and extending its record as the second longest-charting K-pop song after Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ for 24 weeks.

On the Billboard ‘World Albums’ chart, it placed 2nd, marking its 24th week on the chart. Following the first album ‘FACE,’ which spent 63 weeks on the chart, it stands as the second longest-charting K-pop solo album, demonstrating long-term global popularity.
