BoA, after a “drunken live broadcast” with Jun Hyun-moo, has changed 180 degrees… “I hope non-alcoholic options increase.”

BoA, a singer, has shared her thoughts on non-alcoholic drinks via her social media, drawing attention. On her social media account, she wrote, “I hope there will be more restaurants in our country that sell non-alcoholic drinks,” accompanied by an emoticon of joined hands in prayer.

Previously, in April, BoA faced public criticism after participating in an “in-drunk live broadcast” with Jun Hyun-moo. During the live broadcast, she interacted with fans while being intoxicated. The controversy arose when BoA exhibited excessive physical contact with Jun Hyun-moo and made remarks criticizing the cleanliness of his house and its interior. She also made an inappropriate comment on the rumored marriage between Jun Hyun-moo and Park Na-rae, saying, “He’s too good for her.”

Their broadcast was abruptly ended due to intervention from their manager. As the controversy grew, BoA issued an apology statement and contacted Park Na-rae to apologize. Despite her apology, BoA faced a significant blow to her image, becoming labeled as a “disliked celebrity.”

Recently, BoA has expressed her wish for wider availability of non-alcoholic beverages on social media, sparking interest in whether she can shed the negative reputation from the incident. Meanwhile, BoA released her 11th full-length album, “Crazier,” last month, celebrating her 25th debut anniversary.
