Earlier, Edward Lee also stated on social media on the 11th, “In my youth, my dream was to showcase how beautiful and diverse Korean cuisine could be by cooking with local ingredients from my homeland.”
Addressing comments about him facing disadvantages due to the lack of a practice kitchen in Korea, he expressed his belief that a kitchen is not just about fancy equipment and premium ingredients, but about passion, love, and creativity. He shared that during his time in Korea, he transformed his hotel room into an experimental kitchen during weekends and drew inspiration from watching intense Korean dramas in local markets to test new ideas.
