Ahn Jae-hyun, who was criticized by Ku Hye-sun for ‘profiting off their divorce,’ makes a cryptic statement.

Ahn Jae-hyun, targeted by Koo Hye-sun over “divorce consumption,” makes a meaningful statement.

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun honestly expressed his loneliness following his divorce. On the 13th, Ahn Jae-hyun appeared on the YouTube channel “Jeong Ji-sun’s Kalisma” where chef Jeong Ji-sun mentioned a recent article noting Ahn’s loneliness. Ahn responded, “I live in Seongsu, and when I go there on weekends, there are a lot of families.”

He added, “Sometimes I have days off on the weekends, and when I see families dining out in Seongsu-dong, I feel envious.”

When Jeong Ji-sun commented, “You can start creating your own family now. You’re getting older,” Ahn Jae-hyun was seen chopping ginseng. As the production crew and Jeong Ji-sun burst into laughter, Ahn explained, “Maybe the timing was off. I remember learning as a child that it is the wounds that bring out more fragrance.”

When the production team praised his comment that wounds lead to a stronger scent, Ahn Jae-hyun meaningfully replied, “It might hurt.”

Ahn Jae-hyun and actress Koo Hye-sun built their relationship while starring in the drama “Blood” and got married in 2016, but they divorced by mutual agreement in 2020. During the divorce process, Koo Hye-sun exposed conflicts with Ahn Jae-hyun, and the two had opposing views over the reasons for the breakup, leading to a public dispute.

After Ahn Jae-hyun shared his feelings post-divorce on a variety show, Koo Hye-sun publicly criticized him. Recently, on KBS 2TV’s “Ganeunjeong Oneunjeong Lee Min-jeong,” Lee Min-jeong gave Ahn Jae-hyun a female fragrance, wishing him to meet a good person. Koo Hye-sun responded by expressing, “I hope there is a conscience in variety shows.”

Koo Hye-sun stated, “Even if a comment is made for fun, if it can cause discomfort to the individual, it should be stopped immediately,” pointing out her uncomfortable feelings about “divorce consumption.” She continued, “I earnestly hope that everyone understands that no one in this world has the right to mock me, the person involved, just for public amusement. I hope my ex-spouse moves forward and thrives, gaining attention through his unique identity and authenticity, not through me.”
