[OSEN=Reporter Jang Woo-young] On ‘Synchroyu’, BMK will perform a cover of Rosé’s “Apartment”, and Lee Mujin will present a cover stage of Yoon Soo-il’s “Apartment”.
KBS2’s ‘Synchroyu’ (directed by Kwon Jae-oh) is a variety music show where top dream artists with voices that are their calling cards present fantastic cover stages amidst AI-created 99% sync stages.
The 12th episode of ‘Synchroyu’, to be broadcast on the 2nd, is an ‘All-time Legend Special’, where Jeon In-kwon prepares a cover stage for “Around Thirty”, Im Jae-bum for “Snow Flower”, Yoon Do-hyun for “Fire”, and BMK for “Boulder”, raising expectations for thrilling performances by ‘living legend’ singers. Special MC Kang Daniel will join, promising notable detective work.
Meanwhile, BMK and Lee Mujin reveal exciting cover stages that will gather all apartments in Korea. BMK makes an unexpected song choice with Rosé’s “Apartment”, and Lee Mujin selects Yoon Soo-il’s “Apartment”. The unexpected choices have their interest on a new level with Lee Young-jin exclaiming, “Shouldn’t the apartment be different?” at the surprising selections.
As BMK’s stage ends shortly after the opening line of “Apartment”, Lee Young-jin quips, “Did it end after just saying Apartment Building 28?” showing surprise at the brief performance. He humorously suggests that BMK, who married a foreign helicopter pilot, might have subconsciously sung lyrics related to her husband’s job due to habit, triggering laughter at the event.
On the other hand, Lee Mujin’s cover stage of Yoon Soo-il’s 1982 released “Apartment” is also revealed. Karina suspects it’s a ‘fictitious listing’ during the cover, but Lee Juk notes, “He hid himself at the beginning, but he slipped during the twist. Either he was careless or left a fingerprint,” pointing out Lee Mujin’s distinctive voice as a giveaway. As conflicting theories arise, attention focuses on whether BMK and Lee Mujin can present a stage unifying both newly built and old apartments on ‘Synchroyu’ and whether their performances were AI-assisted or genuine.
The surprising variety music show KBS2’s ‘Synchroyu’ concludes its season with episode 12, takes a break for regrouping, and the final episode airs on the 2nd at 8:30 PM. /elnino8919@osen.co.kr
