According to the bereaved family on the 4th, Song Young-kyu was found dead around 8 a.m. that day. The police reported that Song Young-kyu was discovered in a vehicle in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province. It is said that a woman at the scene found Song Young-kyu and reported it to the police.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the death.
A memorial service is being held at the special room 1 of the Dabos Hospital Funeral Hall in Yongin City.
Meanwhile, Song Young-kyu was recently sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of driving under the influence (violation of the Road Traffic Act) after allegedly driving directly from Giheung-gu to his home in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, while intoxicated on the night of the 19th of last month. The tragic news came just two weeks after being sent to the prosecution by the police, deepening the sorrow.
