Currently enjoying a new heyday with the drama “Treasure Island,” Park Hyung-sik is set to reveal behind-the-scenes stories, particularly recounting his surprise at having to shoot scenes in the actual sea for the drama, which piqued viewers’ curiosity.
Park Hyung-sik began his entertainment career at the age of 20 when he debuted with ZE:A. Reflecting on his time with the group, he shared, “The living conditions were tough. We had one bathroom for the nine members at the dorm.” Comedian Jo Se-ho remarked, “It must have been chaos if anyone needed to use it in the morning,” to which Park Hyung-sik added, “We had to manage washing while dealing with the smell.”
Park Hyung-sik also confessed to expecting an easy path upon debut, saying, “I thought once I debuted, the road to success would be smooth.” Afterward, he worked tirelessly across dramas and variety shows such as “The Heirs” and “Real Men,” recalling, “I asked for anything to do, aiming straight ahead no matter what.”
