“269 days at number one… BTS Jimin’s ‘Who’ sets record for most number ones on Spotify in Korea, surpassing ‘Like Crazy'”

The numbers may have changed, but the impact continues. BTS’s Jimin has once again rewritten the history of the Korean Spotify charts. Once more adding the words “first” and “longest” in front of his name.

The title track “Who” from Jimin’s second solo album MUSE, released in July 2024, achieved the top spot on Spotify Korea’s “Daily Top Songs” chart for 269 consecutive days as of April 13, 2025. Rather than a mere ranking, this figure redefines the very structure of the charts.

Remarkably, this record by “Who” surpasses Jimin’s previous record. The title track “Like Crazy” from his first solo album FACE, released in 2023, held the “longest-running No.1” title with 268 days at the top of the same chart. Now, this title too has been handed over to another of Jimin’s songs.

What stands out is that all these records were achieved without official broadcast promotions or additional promotions. “Who” entered the top position on the Korean Spotify Daily Top Songs chart immediately after its release and has maintained the top spot without missing a single day ever since. This achievement is a collective success, created by Jimin’s musical sincerity and the unwavering love of his fans.

The power of music, proven by numbers, doesn’t stop here. In addition to “Who” and “Like Crazy,” Jimin has also topped the Spotify Korea chart with five songs, including “Angel Pt.1” from the movie Fast & Furious: Ride or Die, the solo track “Set Me Free Pt.2,” and “Like Crazy (English Ver.).” As of April 13, 2025, Jimin has amassed a total of 573 daily chart-topping instances, marking the most number of No.1s achieved on Spotify Korea to date.

Jimin’s presence extends from individual songs to the artist as a whole. As of April 13, Jimin has achieved his 623rd No.1 on Spotify Korea’s “Daily Top Artists” chart, continuing to break his own record for the most No.1s as an individual artist. Simultaneously, he recorded his 91st No.1 on the “Weekly Top Artists” chart, proving his unrivaled position on a weekly basis.

The chart is impartial, but for Jimin, an exception was made. “Who,” beyond being just a number repeated for 269 days, stands as evidence of the repeated choices and emotional resonance of its listeners. A song always in the same place, yet bringing new emotions every day. Jimin’s music, building day by day, has achieved yet another milestone.

This record is an important milestone in the musical journey of Jimin, both as a member of BTS and as a solo artist. The song “Who,” which started with a question, has now become “the longest-lasting answer in the days you’ll remember.”
