“10 years of giving birth,” Jung Ju-ri, resolves noise complaints: “Gift from the downstairs neighbor” (‘Jung Ju-ri’)

Comedian Jung Ju-ri, who is pregnant with her fifth child, shared the gifts she received from her neighbors as her delivery date approaches.

On YouTube channel ‘Jung Ju-ri,’ a video titled “Benefits for Pregnancy and Childbirth Explained by Multi-Mom Jung Ju-ri” was released on the 11th. In the video, Jung Ju-ri said, “I have something to boast about. The people downstairs gave me a gift,” holding up a paper bag. Inside the bag were stretch mark cream and a handkerchief. Jung Ju-ri expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am moved by the stretch mark cream, but I am even more touched by the handkerchief that was hand-embroidered. Seeing the knot they made also made me feel very comforted. I will cherish it.”

Furthermore, she shared, “Recently, a neighbor hung sweet potatoes on our door handle. I am grateful to have people around who take care of us like this.”

She particularly mentioned her immediate downstairs neighbors, saying, “They also have many children, so they are understanding and welcoming. They are the neighbors we need to get along with the most.”

Jung Ju-ri was previously embroiled in a controversy over noise between floors. Netizens expressed concerns about noise after seeing a photo with paint all over the floor, leading her to delete the post to quell the issue. A netizen, presumed to be a neighbor, also alleged noise between walls. They claimed, “Even though there is a lot of coming and going during the day, the older children make noise until midnight, and the youngest cries loudly for at least 30 minutes after waking up early.” Jung Ju-ri apologized, saying, “There seems to be a misunderstanding as we were all asleep. I asked the children not to run, but it was my fault for not considering wall noise.” Despite this, she has expressed gratitude for her neighbors’ gifts, helping to calm the controversy.

On the same day, Jung Ju-ri also mentioned, “I’m due in January. My husband will be working while I stay at the postpartum care center for three weeks, so there will be no one to look after the children at home.”

She added, “I might have to send the kids to my in-laws or parents’ place at times, which might mean they can’t attend academy classes, like English or Taekwondo, for a month. It seems right to take a break. I’m telling the ladies helping me film, ‘I need your help. I hope you’ll make happy memories with the children over the holidays. I’ll be at the postpartum care center raising Totto (the nickname for the fifth child).'”

Jung Ju-ri married a non-celebrity in 2015, and they have four sons. The fifth child, also a son, is due next January.
