“1 Trillion Won Fortune” Kim Jaejoong Victimized by Financial Hacking… Has It All Been Wiped Out?

[TV Report = Yoo Jae-hee] Singer Kim Jaejoong revealed that he fell victim to a financial platform account hacking.

On the 7th, Kim Jaejoong announced through the official fan platform “From” that his KakaoPay account had been hacked. He stated that the hacker arbitrarily changed the account password, and he faced significant difficulties in responding as he was unaware of the new password.

He contacted customer service multiple times in an attempt to resolve the issue. However, even after over an hour of conversation, the problem remained unsolved. Particularly, he criticized the loophole in the system where the victim had to prove the damage, saying, “The hacker changed the password, so why should I know it?”

Kim Jaejoong also shared a bewildering experience he had while receiving support. He expressed his frustration, saying, “They said they would connect me to another consultant, but it turned out to be the initial place I had called. It broke my mental strength.” He expressed dissatisfaction, adding, “I know the consultants are working hard, but this system is too weak.”

Fortunately, the hacking incident was concluded in two days through account termination and withdrawal, and there was no additional financial damage confirmed. Kim Jaejoong breathed a sigh of relief, saying, “It was really a terrifying day.”

Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong established Incode (iNKODE) Entertainment with Noh Hyun-tae, a former Cube Entertainment vice president, and is active as a producer and entrepreneur.

Incode Entertainment is home to artists like Oh Ji-yul, Jung Si-hyun, Lee Ji-hoon, Kim Min-jae, and Nicole. As a producer, Kim Jaejoong introduced the seven-member girl group Say My Name last year.
