BTS’s Jungkook warmly congratulated J-Hope on his upcoming military discharge. On October 16, Jungkook left a heartfelt message for J-Hope, who is set to be discharged from active duty in the army on the 17th, through the fan community platform Weverse. Jungkook expressed his congratulations and support with the message, “Jwan… J-Hope… You’ve done a great job. I hope you get to happily do what you couldn’t while you were away. Great job♡”

He also endearingly added, “Jimin and I have 238 days left.” Fans responded enthusiastically, saying things like, “It’s so cute how he’s counting the days,” “Jungkook’s heart and words are so beautiful,” “Jungkook, I can’t wait to see you soon too,” “Is it even possible for kindness and warmth to overflow from text?” and “Jungkook, hang in there for 238 days♡ I’ll be waiting patiently,” “I wish 238 days were just 238 secondsㅜㅜ.”

Previously, in March, Jungkook shared an update on his military life, saying, “I’m doing well. I’m working out diligently, cleaning thoroughly up to the ceiling, and cooking my meals well.” Jungkook enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December last year and is currently serving as a culinary soldier. He is scheduled to be discharged on June 11 of next year.
