Three railway lines in the West Sea region to open… operations start from tomorrow.

The three railway lines, Seohae Line’s Hongseong to Seohwaseong section, Janghang Line’s Sinchang to Hongseong section, and Poseung-Pyeongtaek Line’s Anjung to Pyeongtaek section, will officially begin operations this month. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport announced today (1st) that a ceremony for the opening of the three railway projects in the West Coast region will be held at Hongseong Station, and operations will commence tomorrow (2nd). The Seohae Line is a newly constructed line connecting Hongseong Station in South Chungcheong to Seohwaseong Station in Gyeonggi, with a total project cost of approximately 4.1 trillion won and a length of 90 kilometers. With the establishment of this new railway line, which connects South Chungcheong and the western metropolitan area within about an hour, the development effects in the West Coast region, including Asan, Dangjin, Pyeongtaek, and Hwaseong, are anticipated.
