Starting from the 10th, ‘Seongsu Station = Musinsa Station’… Musinsa strengthens its presence in Seongsu-dong

In September, Musinsa won the naming rights for Seongsu Station at a bid price of 329,292,929 won over three years. Starting from the 10th of this month, Musinsa will participate in the Seoul Metro Line 2 Seongsu Station naming rights project. This initiative, known as the “subway station name rights sales,” is organized by Seoul Metro to enhance the recognition of businesses and institutions near subway stations and to improve convenience for city rail users.

Musinsa’s name will appear alongside Seongsu Station on various signs, including those inside and outside the station, concourse direction signs, platform name signs, screen door name signs, train maps, and announcements. In the train heading towards Seongsu on Line 2, passengers will hear announcements in both Korean and English saying, “The next station is Seongsu, Musinsa Station.” After a maintenance period starting in October, Musinsa has been testing these announcements.

Earlier, Musinsa participated in the public e-bidding announced by Seoul Metro in September 2025 and was selected as the final bidder with an offer of 329,292,929 won. The contract period is three years, with a possibility of a three-year extension.

This project is expected to further strengthen Musinsa’s presence in Seongsu-dong, a vibrant commercial area. Since relocating its headquarters to Seongsu-dong in September 2022, Musinsa has introduced various offline spaces like Musinsa Standard Seongsu and Musinsa Store Seongsu, quickly transforming the area’s business landscape into a fashion hub.

Musinsa has also built an ecosystem for mutual growth with the local community by expanding social contributions for Seongdong-gu residents and increasing employment, contributing to the local economy’s revival. A Musinsa representative stated, “Since moving our headquarters to Seongsu, we have continuously expanded employment and investment, which in turn has energized the regional economy thanks to the concentration of K-fashion brands. We plan to expand mutual growth with the local community and small brands to establish a leading fashion district extending beyond Seongsu to Seoul Forest Road.”
