On the 31st, SK hynix Vice President Lee Song-man stated, “As SK hynix, which leads AI innovation, we will also strive to foster AI talent.” In an interview with the SK hynix newsroom that day, Vice President Lee mentioned, “We are preparing a program to enhance AI capabilities and spread the use system to change the way we work this year.”
Vice President Lee, who has long been involved in talent development and the dissemination of the SK Management System (SKMS) within the SK Group, was appointed this year as the new executive of the SKMS&Growth organization. SKMS&Growth is a human resource development organization at SK hynix that spreads and propagates SKMS to support the change and growth of its members. SKMS is SK hynix’s management philosophy, pursuing VWBE (Voluntary and Willing Brain Engagement) and SUPEX (the highest level achievable by human capability).
Vice President Lee remarked that he was encouraged by the “growth desire and aspiration shown by SK hynix members,” noting there were many instances of overwhelming interest, such as servers crashing due to high demand for courses without any promotion. He urged members to make use of the company’s various growth support programs, stating that cultivating personnel is a core value and direction of SK hynix, and that the company operates a variety of growth support programs at the corporate level for this purpose.
He recommended the ‘Job Certification Course,’ one of the courses offered in SKHU (SK hynix University), saying, “We provide systematic education tailored to the job levels in each field.” Vice President Lee revealed plans to focus on and materialize key initiatives for 2025, such as internalizing SKMS for team building, supporting technological innovation through proactive capacity enhancement, advancing SKHU 5.0, and leadership enhancement programs.
He concluded by expressing his determination to provide the optimal environment for change and growth, noting that during the process of overcoming the recent downturn, he was able to confirm the resilience of SK hynix. He attributed this to the efforts of the members who have strived to practice VWBE and SUPEX, reflecting the philosophy of SKMS embedded in SK hynix’s DNA.
