On April 23, 2026, during the first-quarter earnings conference call, SK Hynix announced, “We are preparing to supply HBM4E samples to customers this year,” and added, “We are working smoothly with customers to meet the required performance, aiming for full-scale HBM4E supply in 2027.”
They continued, “To meet the heightened performance demands of customers, we are developing HBM4E by applying a 10-nanometer-class 6th generation (1c) process.” They explained, “Since the process has reached a mature level of yield and mass production capability, we will be able to stably supply products that meet the performance requirements of our customers by the target time.”
The company stated, “We will focus on technology internalization to respond stably to global memory semiconductor demand in the mid- to long-term,” and pledged to “continue our technological leadership through overwhelming product quality.”
