The continuous increase in fresh food sales centered around livestock products and the per capita meat consumption of 60.6 kg surpassing rice consumption of 56.4 kg have been significant factors in selecting strategic products this year.
GS The Fresh plans to pursue key activities to nurture livestock products, including the stable acquisition of high-quality livestock products, innovation in price competitiveness, and the introduction of signature events.
GS The Fresh intends to strengthen its mutual cooperation system with livestock partners to ensure the stable procurement of high-quality livestock products. By prioritizing investment and support systems for outstanding partners, it plans to establish a virtuous cycle distribution system through securing high-quality raw materials, processing, and stable supply.
Differentiated joint product development, enhanced product promotion, and infrastructure investment support benefits are expected to be provided to outstanding partners. GS The Fresh will hold a growth partnership agreement ceremony with livestock partners on the 9th and sign a memorandum of understanding with this as the main agenda.
GS The Fresh is accelerating innovation in price competitiveness through achieving economies of scale by utilizing its unrivaled sales channel in the industry and simplifying distribution stages. Based on this, the “Meat is GS The Fresh” event, selling popular livestock products at the lowest prices nationwide, has been newly established and is being operated.
The “Meat is GS The Fresh” event will continue as an annual regular event, focusing on 11 key items such as beef, pork, chicken, and eggs, especially consumed actively.
The first “Meat is GS The Fresh” event of the year will be held until the 14th. Key products like “Two Plus Korean Beef Sirloin 300g” (29,900 won), “Grade 1 Korean Beef for Soup 300g” (9,900 won), “Pork Belly 500g” (9,900 won), “Seasoned Grilled Cuts 1.1kg” (9,900 won), and “Antibiotic-Free Fresh Eggs 30 count” (5,980 won) will be sequentially offered as main products.
