Samsung Electronics showcases AI home technology at KES 2025, unveiling products like Micro RGB TV and Vision AI Companion.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 21st that they are participating in the ‘KES 2025 (Korea Electronics Show)’, held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, from the 21st to the 24th. They will showcase AI-integrated products and technologies applicable across various environments, from home and educational settings to business. Visitors at the Samsung booth can directly experience the cutting-edge displays, including the next-generation ‘Micro RGB TV,’ known for its picture quality, color accuracy, and contrast performance. Additionally, attendees can engage with the ‘Vision AI Companion,’ which offers personalized AI experiences through interactive dialogue, providing answers to various content-related questions.

Samsung has set up exhibition spaces themed around everyday environments, such as homes, classrooms, and stores, to demonstrate how their latest mobiles, displays, and home appliances integrate AI technology to provide optimized solutions. A notable feature is the media facade using large LEDs at the exhibition entrance, and they plan to also highlight an exhibit dedicated to display technology.

Attendees can explore the AI-powered ‘MovingStyle’ portable screen, which offers 202 custom configurations based on user preferences and lifestyles, including display type, screen size, resolution, product color, and stand type.

In the home-themed exhibition spaces, visitors can experience a connected ‘AI Home’ centered around SmartThings. For example, in the ‘Living Room,’ visitors can explore the ‘SmartThings Automation Routine,’ which uses AI-powered appliances like air conditioners and robot vacuums to provide optimal living conditions by recognizing the user. The ‘Family Care’ and ‘Pet Care’ functions allow monitoring of family members and pets even when users are away.

In the ‘Kitchen,’ visitors will see the ‘AI Vision Inside’ feature in refrigerators, managing ingredients and suggesting personalized recipes. They can also experience AI-based energy management, monitoring real-time energy usage of connected devices through SmartThings apps on appliances or mobile devices, showcasing the energy-saving capabilities of major appliances like TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners.

The ‘Bedroom’ space highlights the orchestration of connected devices, like curtains, lights, and air purifiers via SmartThings, to create an optimal sleep environment based on the user’s sleep and wake cycles.

Finally, in the ‘Galaxy AI Class,’ a learning-themed space, visitors can test the camera capabilities of ‘Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7’ and explore various Galaxy AI features like generative editing and Gemini Live.
