Samlip opens a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the release of the classic cream bread.

SPC Samlip announced on the 6th that they will operate a pop-up store called ‘Cream Atelier’ at the Future Society in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, until the 16th to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the release of the authentic cream bread.

The temporary store consists of a ‘History Zone’ where visitors can learn about the history of cream, a ‘Recipe Zone’ where visitors can taste three different creams and choose their favorite to receive as a gift, and a ‘Goods Zone’ where cream bread-related goods can be purchased. The store showcases various flavors of cream such as Mara & Goso, Truffle Blue Cheese, Fried Rice & Green Tea, Cherry Blossom & Peach using artificial intelligence (AI)-planned cream flavors.

Samlip plans to release cream bread containing the most popular cream selected through visitor voting next month. The authentic cream bread, a steady seller for Samlip, was the first product in the domestic baking industry to introduce vinyl packaging technology when it was released in 1964. Cumulative sales have reached 1.9 billion units to date.
