[Seoul=Newsis] Park Sung-hwan reporter = The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Park Sang-woo) and the Metropolitan Public Transport Commission (Chairman Kang Hee-eop) have announced on the 19th that they are providing guidance on the most frequently asked questions by users of K-Pass since its launch through the K-Pass app and website.
Since its launch on the 1st, K-Pass has surpassed 1.2 million members (850,000 members converted from discounted transportation cards and 350,000 new members). Since the start of the project, about 28,930 inquiries have been received through the K-Pass app and website. The main inquiries were about the project details (33.5%) and how to use it (21.4%). Most questions regarding the project were about what K-Pass is and the conditions for receiving refunds. Also, questions about how to use it, where to get the card, and how to sign up were the most common.
The Commission included related content in the “Frequently Asked Questions” section of the K-Pass app and website to help users easily resolve their doubts. In addition, with the Korea Transport Safety Authority, the Commission will operate a K-Pass promotional booth at Seoul Station from the 22nd to the 24th.
Kang Hee-eop, Chairman of the Metropolitan Public Transport Commission, stated, “With 1.2 million users in less than a month, K-Pass is becoming a representative public transport policy in Korea,” and “to respond to the public’s support, we will make efforts to promptly respond to user inquiries and make it more convenient for users to use K-Pass.”
