Hyundai Mobis announced on the 24th that it had invited around 220 representatives from major partner companies to strengthen partnerships by sharing the company’s strategy and vision. On February 21st, at the ‘2025 Partners Day’ held at the Haevichi Hotel in Jeju, Hyundai Mobis President Lee Kyuseok emphasized the importance of overcoming the rapidly changing future mobility market, acknowledging the coexistence of risks and opportunities. He stated that the company aims to become a ‘top tier player’ by establishing fundamental quality capabilities and responding flexibly to risks.
President Lee also highlighted that the sustainable growth of partner companies strengthens Mobis’ competitiveness, which in turn facilitates the partner companies’ global expansion, thus creating a virtuous cycle ecosystem. Hyundai Mobis conducted an awards ceremony for outstanding partner companies in over 10 categories, including quality, safety, new car development, procurement, and mutual growth.
Since establishing the mutual growth master plan in 2010, Hyundai Mobis has continued to build a comprehensive system for cooperation with partners. They have expanded funding support for partner companies through co-growth funds and significantly improved payment conditions. They declared compliance management in 2019, leading efforts to create a fair and transparent trading environment through activities like voluntary compliance with fair trade and strengthened compliance education and campaigns. They also contribute to improving partner capabilities and spreading a culture of practical co-growth.
Furthermore, Hyundai Mobis is actively supporting technology to enhance partner competitiveness. Over the past three years, they have supported about 215 billion KRW for more than 1,300 new product and new technology developments by partner companies. They operate a technology protection support system to enhance the partner companies’ ability to secure their intellectual property rights and protect technology.
Additionally, with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management becoming a major focus, they have been promoting various ESG implementation strategies, such as support projects for building safety equipment, energy diagnosis consulting, and responding to public disclosures as a co-growth partner with partner companies. As a result of these efforts, Hyundai Mobis was selected as the ‘top excellence’ company for six consecutive years in the co-growth index evaluation announced last year.
