Hoban Group offers 20 million won in support for the birth of a third child… and maximum childcare support of 8.4 million won.

According to Financial News, the Hoban Group supports employees who have their third child with a congratulatory gift of 20 million won. To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the Hoban Group announced the expansion of its family-friendly welfare system called ‘Good Hoban Life,’ which provides various support tailored to different life stages such as marriage, pregnancy, and childcare.

Specifically, employees who get married receive a congratulatory gift of 1 million won. For infertile couples seeking pregnancy, the group supports infertility treatment costs up to 3.9 million won. Additionally, a 2-night 3-day prenatal travel package at a domestic resort is provided. A maximum congratulatory gift of 20 million won is also offered for childbirth, with 5 million won for the first child, 10 million won for the second child, and 20 million won for the third child or more. A ‘Solid Dad Leave’ for fathers to participate in childcare is granted up to 20 days, which can be divided into a maximum of 3 intervals. Furthermore, the childcare leave period is extended to a maximum of 2 years per person.

Childcare support payments include 200,000 won per month for children aged 2-3, 100,000 won per month for children aged 4-6, and up to 8.4 million won for children before entering elementary school. Kim Dae-heon, the head of planning and management, mentioned that meticulous support programs were developed to provide stability for employees during pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, ensuring a balance between work and family. He expressed plans to continue conducting various programs based on employee feedback to ensure employee happiness both at home and in the workplace.
