Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 13th that it received an AA (Excellent) rating in the “2024 Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP)” rating evaluation conducted by the Fair Trade Commission. Its subsidiary, Hanwha Systems, also achieved an AA (Excellent) rating for the second consecutive year.
The CP rating evaluation is a system in which the Fair Trade Commission assesses the internal compliance systems independently established and operated by companies to ensure compliance with fair trade-related laws and grants ratings.
Hanwha Aerospace has been striving to establish a culture of compliance management and fair trade adherence, starting with the declaration of compliance management in 2011, acquiring ISO 37301 (Compliance) and 37001 (Anti-bribery) management system certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2021 as the first defense company in the industry, and declaring human rights management in 2023.
Hanwha Systems similarly acquired ISO 37301 and 37001 certifications in 2022 and has been continuing a global standard of compliance and ethical management policies through CP training for all employees, a compliance pledge campaign, and the publication of a compliance newsletter.
