Hanshin Construction has newly obtained certification as an ‘Outstanding Institution for Cultural and Arts Sponsorship’ from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Han Shin Construction announced on the 5th that it has received new certification as an ‘Outstanding Institution for Cultural Arts Sponsorship’ in 2024, recognizing its contributions to social welfare through cultural and artistic activities.

The ‘Outstanding Institution for Cultural Arts Sponsorship’ certification is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Arts and Culture Commission. It is awarded annually to companies and institutions that have conducted exemplary cultural arts sponsorship projects. The certification was first introduced in 2015 and marks its 10th anniversary this year.

Since 2005, Han Shin Construction has been actively promoting Korean culture in Vietnam and facilitating cultural exchanges between Korea and Vietnam by organizing large-scale events for Vietnamese students. They have also supported various cultural and artistic initiatives such as the Seoul Modern Art Show in collaboration with the Seoul Artists Association and held graffiti contests.

In particular, since 2022, the company has established an official partnership with the Whanki Museum, dedicated to commemorating the prominent modern artist Kim Whanki (1913-1974). Through this partnership, they have successfully merged construction and culture, leaving a notable example of cultural collaboration.

A representative from Han Shin Construction stated, “Under Han Shin Construction’s brand philosophy of ‘building art and painting architecture,’ we will continue to expand our cultural and artistic projects.”
