Hanmi Semiconductor Donates 170 Million Won to Social Contribution Organization

Cumulative Donation of 630 Million Won

Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 19th that they have supported 170 million won in scholarships and donations to 11 domestic and international social contribution organizations. This is part of their social contribution activities during the year-end and New Year period. The cumulative amount donated by the company since 2019 totals 630 million won.

As part of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, Hanmi Semiconductor has been supporting nine domestic organizations since 2019, including Holt Children’s Services, Save the Children, Angel’s Haven for Children, Good Neighbors, the Korea Heart Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, World Vision, the Korean Red Cross, and Project Soldier. They are also supporting ‘Children Are Us Foundation’ and ‘World Vision Taiwan’ in Taiwan.

Hanmi Semiconductor conducts various social contribution activities, such as providing support for abused and low-income children, free meals for lonely seniors, medical expenses for heart disease patients, emergency medical relief, support for youth preparing for independence, and honoring Korean War veterans.

Kim Jung-young, Vice President of Hanmi Semiconductor, said, “The continuous growth of a company is more meaningful when it is with society,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to creating a society where we live together through ongoing sharing activities.”
