Genesis has unveiled the design for the facelifted GV70 electric vehicle, with sales expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.

Hyundai Motor Group’s luxury brand Genesis unveiled the facelift design of the electric SUV GV70 model on the 2nd. The facelifted version of the GV70 electric model is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of next year. The GV70 electric model is Genesis’ third electric vehicle, having been launched in March 2022, following previous releases of the electrified G80 and GV60 models.

Genesis has focused on emphasizing the dynamic character of the GV70 electric model by enhancing its sophistication in line with the brand’s design philosophy of “Athletic Elegance.” The front incorporates a new grille design with a G-Matrix pattern in a gradient form. The bumper design has also been revamped to look wider, expressing a refined sensibility, according to Genesis.

On the side, a new matte dark gray 20-inch wheel has been added, and the existing 19-inch wheel’s color has been changed. At the rear, the position of the turn signals has been moved from the bumper to near the taillights to enhance visibility. Genesis has also applied its signature two-line design to unify the front and rear.

The interior of the GV70 electric model continues another Genesis design philosophy, “Beauty of White Space.” It includes a 27-inch integrated wide display that combines the cluster and infotainment system, along with a touch-type climate control panel. The model is also equipped with new mood lighting and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Genesis plans to reveal the detailed prices and specifications in the first quarter of next year, with official sales set to commence.
