[Dailyan = Reporter Kim Ji-hyun] Deputy Minister Kim Beom-seok of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, acting as the Minister, held the F4 meeting on macroeconomic and financial issues on the 16th. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation details of the third phase of the Stress DSR (Debt Service Ratio), which are set to be announced next week.
The participants assessed that the domestic financial and foreign exchange markets are generally showing stable trends. However, they agreed to continue monitoring the market conditions through F4 meetings due to the ongoing external uncertainties, such as tariff negotiations between major countries and the United States, as well as the U.S. economic situation.
The attendees concurred on implementing the third phase of Stress DSR starting this July as initially planned. Nevertheless, they recognized the need to apply it differently in non-metropolitan areas, considering factors such as the construction industry.
