DL E&C announced on the 18th that it will host the ‘3GO’ competition for the remainder of this year to achieve zero accidents. For the next three months until the end of the year, DL E&C plans to select outstanding cases based on monthly site safety priorities and implement them broadly.
The ‘3GO’ competition will run with the themes: “Plan GO!” for October, “Check GO!” for November, and “Prevent GO!” for December. In October, the focus will be on finding excellent cases related to the establishment and implementation of daily risk assessments on site and prevention of unauthorized work.
Next month, the company plans to gather and develop ideas to increase worker participation through the promotion and use of the Safety Reporting System. In December, as the winter season intensifies, the competition will focus on discovering outstanding cases for fire and suffocation prevention and ensuring a warm winter on site.
DL E&C will evaluate the submitted cases and select outstanding examples for each business division—housing, civil engineering, and plant—each month. The evaluation will prioritize the degree of participation from site members, the uniqueness of ideas, and the applicability to various sites.
Selected ideas will be rewarded, and the chosen innovations will be implemented across all sites. Lee Gil-po, DL E&C’s Chief Safety Officer (CSO), stated, “To achieve zero accidents for the remainder of the year, all workers must become safety guardians, identifying and eliminating site hazards.”
